Jens Walvoort Delivers Strong Performance at Czech Grand Prix

Jens Walvoort of BTS Racing delivered a strong performance at the Czech Grand Prix. On the technical track of Loket, Walvoort finished fourteenth and twelfth in the motos, earning him thirteenth overall in the day’s standings.
On Saturday, Walvoort already showed promising speed. The track was still dry during the time practice, allowing for high pace. Walvoort made several attempts to clock a fast lap and ended up with the thirteenth fastest time. After time practice, rain set in, transforming the circuit into a slippery, muddy track. Walvoort performed well in the qualifying heat. Starting outside the top ten, he made a solid comeback to ninth place, earning two championship points.
The conditions improved significantly for Sunday’s motos. In the first race, Walvoort got off to a good start, launching just outside the top ten. With a strong rhythm, he held his position for most of the race. Only in the second half did he have to give up a few places, ultimately finishing in a respectable fourteenth position.
In the second moto, Walvoort rode consistently. Once again starting just outside the top ten, he maintained his position throughout the race, finishing in a solid twelfth place.
With these results, Walvoort secured thirteenth overall for the day — an impressive achievement for the Dutchman on such a challenging circuit. Next weekend, Walvoort will line up for the Belgian Grand Prix in Lommel.

Jens Walvoort Secures Top Ten Finish in MX2 Grand Prix in Finland

Jens Walvoort of BTS Racing claimed a top ten finish at the thirteenth round of the MX2 World Championship, held this past weekend in Finland.

On Saturday, Walvoort already showed strong potential on the newly built Kymiring circuit. As the day progressed, he found his rhythm on the sandy surface and qualified in twelfth place for the main event.

A great start in the opening moto saw Walvoort riding inside the top five early on. Unfortunately, a crash set him back significantly. Despite the setback, he launched a strong comeback and managed to salvage a respectable fifteenth place.

In the second moto, Walvoort bounced back impressively. Starting from twelfth, he steadily moved up to tenth place and held that position all the way to the finish line.

These results earned him twelfth overall for the day and moved him up to 23rd in the championship standings. The next Grand Prix will take place in Loket, Czech Republic, on the weekend of July 26–27.
